THANK YOU to all who contributed to our Christmas fundraiser for the Happy Tree! Sport NL was so excited to receive $1435 in donations, clothing and toys from multiple individuals and Provincial Sport Organizations! Sport NL staff had a wonderful time heading to Toys R Us for a fun afternoon of shopping for toys for all age groups. Your generous contributions meant our donation was TOO LARGE for the bin at the Avalon Mall so VOCM and the Salvation Army picked up all our goodies on December 18th. We were informed that the Happy Tree was already running low on items so all your contributions will make a big difference to a large number of families! Thanks again for your generosity. It’s amazing to work with such an incredible sport community!
