Sport Newfoundland and Labrador is excited to open nominations for the 2025 Annual Awards!
Each year, Sport Newfoundland and Labrador celebrates outstanding athletic achievements and contributions through its Annual Awards Program.
For the 2025 Annual Awards we will have fifteen (15) categories:
- Senior Male Athlete of the Year
- Senior Female Athlete of the Year
- Junior Male Athlete of the Year
- Junior Female Athlete of the Year
- Male Coach of the Year
- Female Coach of the Year
- Rising Star Coach of the Year
- Executive of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Senior Official of the Year
- Junior Official of the Year
- Senior Male Team of the Year
- Senior Female Team of the Year
- Youth Male Team of the Year
- Youth Female Team of the Year
Nominations are to be put forward by Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO) only. If you would like to suggest a nominee for your sport, please contact your Provincial Sport Organization to discuss. You can find PSO contact information by visiting the Find a Sport page.
All Provincial Sport Organizations may submit one nomination per category for your organization. Please ensure you review the guidelines for each award prior to submitting. All nominations can be submitted through an online form, simply “submit” your nomination and it will be sent directly to Katie Thompson, Communications Manager communications@sportnl.ca
