SportNL Safe Sport Complaint Mechanism

The SportNL Safe Sport Complaint Mechanism aims to provide an impartial, transparent, and effective process for addressing complaints related to maltreatment and appeals arising from SportNL member provincial sport organizations (PSO’s).

SportNL is partnering with ITP Sport as our Independent Third Party (ITO) to oversee all cases involving potential violations of the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS). In additional, certain disciplinary decisions will be able to be appealed to the Independent Third-party ITP.

This critical step reinforces our commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive amateur sport environment in Newfoundland and Labrador.
