Biography
Marvin Okello is a community advocate, coach, podcaster, and sport leader dedicated to making sport and recreation more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive. As the EDIA Coaching Support Lead with CSI Atlantic, Director of Coaching with FUNSports, founder and current co-chair of the Halifax Wanderers IDEA Committee, Marvin works to remove barriers and create stronger pathways into sport for newcomers and other underrepresented communities.

His work includes developing coach engagement & education, mentorship, and community initiatives designed to ensure newcomers are not simply invited into sport and recreation, but are intentionally welcomed, supported, and given opportunities to participate belong and/or lead.
