SportNL is seeking applications for a Marketing Assistant. This is a Canada Summer Job position funded through the Government of Canada.
8 Week term, 35hrs/week @ $12.50/hr
Successful candidate is:
•between fifteen and thirty years of age
•Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or person on wo refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and refugee protection act
•is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
Job Duties:
•Assist in the organizing of events and digital campaigns
• Compose and post online content on organizations website and social platforms
• Provide administrative and project support for a variety of programs
• help organize and coordinate marketing events
•other duties as required
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education (in progress or completed) in Marketing Administration, Digital Marketing, communications or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using MS Office Suite
• Experience using social media platforms
• Proven strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
