Gymnastics NL gymnast, Megan Skinner came off a history making 2020 Elite Canada Championships this past weekend in Calgary. Megan Skinner (Cygnus Gymnastics) captured a bronze medal on Balance Beam and finished in 9th place in a field of 44 respectfully. Megan was named to the Canadian High Performance Novice List, a first for any WAG athlete in this province. She joins a group of twenty-five HP Novice athlete from across Canada.
Megan will next compete at International Gymnix in Montreal, March 5-8, 2020 and again at Canadian National Championships in May 2020.
The Canadian High Performance Program (HP) is the preferred pathway for athletes aspiring towards National Team. It’s the pathway that will lead a gymnast towards the pursuit of excellence and achievement of medals at the highest level.
