Adam William Morgan - Athlete

Adam Morgan’s diving career began at the age of 6 and just one year later he was winning his first medals. He was a three (3) time member of the Canadian National Diving Team and competed at the 1994 (Silver Medal, 3 Meter), 1997 and 1998 Can-Am-Mex International Diving Competition against the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil and Philippines.

In 1998-1999 Morgan won one (1) silver and two (2) bronze medals at the Canadian National Junior Diving Championships. In 2001 he competed at the Canada Summer Games where he won one (1) gold and two (2) silver medals becoming the only Newfoundlander to achieve this individual honour prior to these games.

Adam went on to have a successful college diving career where he was a Member of the Texas A & M Diving Team which competed in the Big X11 Conference that included Texas Tech, Colorado, Texas, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State.

He held the school record in the one meter Championship event between 1999 and 2004 and was a three (3) time All American diver. Adam placed in the top three in every NCCA competition while attending Texas A & M, which Conference had at least an average of 12 tournaments a year.
